FAQS
Check these FAQ's first! Chances are you may not be the first to ask …
Do you do tailored itineraries?
Yes! If you want to do something special in India and need some assistance or want a customized itinerary, we can help you. Grass Routes organize tours for anyone with an interest in local culture and respect for nature. We've organised tours for professors, students, NGO's, painters, photographers & filmmakers. Let us know your ideas and we’ll help create your very own journey.
Can we bring our kids on a trip?
Grass Routes welcomes children on our journeys. Children must be accompanied and cared for at all times by an adult. We suggest you get in touch with any specific concerns.
How old are the people on your tours?
It varies and our experience is that a 72 year old can easily out run a 18 year old; it’s all a matter of spirit! So far we’ve had the pleasure of travellers from 6 years to 76 years on our journeys.
I’m used to travelling independently, will these journeys suit me?
Certainly. Although we include a lot of activities to encourage interaction we’ve also taken care to structure in space. We don’t cramp your personal space, nor do we shelter our travellers.
Do you offer Group Departures?
Yes! We require a minimum of four travellers (max. of 10) to offer a Group Departure. Travelling in a small group can be a great way of making new friends and sharing costs. Group Departures are initiated by traveler requests which we endeavour to match with similar queries. Get in touch for more details.
Do you offer group discounts?
Absolutely. If you can organize a group of 10 friends together, we’ll complement your journey cost (land only).
Where else?
Grass Routes specialises in Odisha, however exploring new places and meeting new people is in our blood. With plenty of experience throughout India we can create captivating journeys almost anywhere. We are constantly updating our ever-expanding knowledge base and have professional colleagues and friends all over the country ready to welcome you with open arms and hearts.
